With the Youth Girls Program starting this Sunday we are extremely happy and excited to announce our first coach who has put her hand up to be involve and give back to the game she loves. We welcome Meaghan Haggart.
Meaghan has been playing baseball for over 7 years both nationally and internationally. Within her baseball career she has played for WA Heat 4 times in the under 16's national championships with 2 Silvers medals, a bronze model and was a huge part in our inaugural Gold medal championship team. Meaghan has moved up to the opens side where her success has continued winning a silver medal and also a bronze medal.
Meaghan success has also seen her being selected into the Traveling Pheonix cup side for the under 18's Australian team.
She has also been selected in to the Australia Emeralds squad for 2016 and 2018, playing in the first Australia - Japan competition in Bendigo earlier this year.
She is one of the best catchers in the state and recently has been trying her hand on the mound, when not doing that she has developed in to a very solid outfielder.
Meaghan will be coaching the "Mermaids"
