Coaching Announcement: Megan Everitt

Our next coach to jump on board is another talented young player - Megan Everitt.

Megan has been playing baseball for around 7 years with Melville Baseball Club in the women's grade.

Megan was also part of our inaugural under 16s state team. She has represented the WA Heat on 4 occasions in this age group winning 1 bronze medal, 2 silver medals and was also a vital part of our inarguable gold medal Championship team. Megan started as a catcher, made a moved to the mound whilst playing a bit of 3rd base and roaming the outfield. Her versatility in the field made her a vital part of any team she played in.

Whilst playing in the 2015 National championships Megan won the Gold glove for the best fielder at the tournament.

Megan also represented the Open Women's Heat team 2 years ago where she won a silver medal.

Megan took some time off from playing at nationals last year to jump into a different role. She gave back to the program that has delivered so much for her. She was the Assistant coach for the Under 16 WA Heat girls team. This gave her, her first look at how the coaching side went. She did a fantastic job whilst away.

Megan will be coaching the Ladybirds
